Apremilast Tablets 10mg

APREMIND 10 is used in the treatment of moderate to severe plaque psoriasis, which is a type of skin condition. This medicine is used when regular treatments do not work or cannot be used due to side effects or poor response.

INDICATIONS:

Reduces inflammation and scaling in mild to moderate cases
Helps relieve joint pain and stiffness.
Reduces frequency and severity of mouth sores.

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Apremilast, at a dosage of 10mg & 30 mg is an oral medication primarily used to treat psoriatic arthritis and plaque psoriasis. Its mechanism of action involves inhibiting the enzyme phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4), which leads to increased levels of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) within cells. This increase in cAMP then modulates the production of inflammatory mediators, ultimately reducing inflammation and related symptoms.

DOSAGE:

One Tablet once daily. Or as directed by a physician.
