CONSTIFLUX (Prucalopride) belongs to the class of medications called serotonin receptor agonists.

INDICATION :

Chronic idiopathic constipation.

This medication is used to treat chronic constipation when other medications used to treat constipation (such as laxatives) have not provided relief.

MECHANISM OF ACTION :

CONSTIFLUX (Prucalopride) is a gastrointestinal prokinetic which used to treat chronic idiopathic constipation. Prucalopride acts on the muscle walls of the gut and increases bowel motility. Thereby, helps restore the normal functioning of the bowel and treats constipation. CONSTIFLUX helps treat chronic constipation in adults in whom laxatives do not work well.

DOSAGES : The general dose of this medication is 2mg once daily.

General Dose : One tablet once a day , or as directed by the doctor
