Montelukast 10 mg & Levocetirizine 5mg Tablets.

MONLET-LC is a combination of two medicines : Levocetirizine and Montelukast.

This combination is primarily used to treat various allergic symptoms.

Hay fever

Sneezing

Allergies & Symptoms related to it

Runny nose & Watery Eyes

Used to treat the symptoms of symptoms of Asthma and allergic Rhinitis

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Montelukast is in a class of medications called leukotriene receptor antagonists (LTRAs). It works by blocking the action of leukotriene (A chemical messenger that causes the symptoms of asthma and allergic rhinitis).Thereby reducing inflammation in the airways.

Levocetirizine is an antiallergic which blocks a chemical messenger (histamine) responsible for runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing.
