Bilastine & Montelukast Tab.

BILANCHY-M is a combination of two medicines : Bilastine and Montelukast.

This combination is primarily used to treat various allergic symptoms.

Swelling

Rashes

runny nose

Congestion

Stuffy nose or watery eyes.

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Bilastine is an anti-allergic medication.It belongs to the piperidine class of antihistamines. It treats allergy symptoms such as itching, swelling, and rashes by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine) in the body.

Montelukast is in a class of medications called leukotriene receptor antagonists (LTRAs). It works by blocking the action of leukotriene (A chemical messenger that causes the symptoms of asthma and allergic rhinitis).Thereby reducing inflammation in the airways.

DOSAGE:

General Dose: 1 Tablet once daily or as directed by the physician.
