Tekfix (Telmisartan) is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure and other cardiovascular disorders.

Kidney problems

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Tekfix (Telmisartan) works by blocking the action of angiotensin ( A hormone which is responsible for constriction of blood vessels and increasing B.P), which further leads to vasodilation thereby maintaining an optimal blood flow.

DOSAGE:

Standard dose: 40 mg once per day.Maintenance dose: – 20 to 80 mg once per day.
