PSYRAM (Ramipril) belongs to a class of drugs known as ACE INHIBITORS. It is widely used in the treatment of hypertension and cardiovascular diseases.

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

PSYRAM (Ramipril) is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It works by blocking the action of angiotensin in the body(an enzyme that causes blood vessels to tighten). As a result, ramipril relaxes the blood vessels, thereby normalising the blood pressure.

DOSAGE:

The dose range varies according to the severity of the disease.

Minimum dose: 1.25mg once a day / Maximum dose: 10 mg once a day
