TINLEOFIN M 1000 is a combination of two medicinal compounds:

Teneligliptin & Metformin Hydrochloride

INDICATION :

Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

MECHANISM OF ACTION :

TINLEOFIN contains ?Teneligliptin? which belongs to the class of dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitors used to treat type 2 diabetes when diet and exercise alone cannot control blood sugar levels. It works by blocking the action of DPP-4 (an enzyme that destroys the hormone ?Incretin?). The enzyme ?Incretins? helps produce more insulin only when required and reduces the liver’s blood sugar level when not needed. Thereby normalising the blood sugar levels.

Metformin is a biguanide , it works by lowering glucose production in the liver, delaying the absorption of sugar (glucose) from the intestines, and increasing the body’s sensitivity to insulin.
