MSTOL (Escitalopram) belongs to a class of Antidepressant drugs known as SSRIs

(Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors)

This medication is generally used to treat depression and some other mental diseases and disorders.

INDICATIONS:

Depression

Anxiety Disorder

Panic disorder

Can be used along with other medicines to treat Bipolar depression

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

MSTOL (Escitalopram Oxalate) is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant. It works by increasing the levels of serotonin, a chemical messenger in the brain. This improves mood and physical symptoms of depression and also relieves symptoms of anxiety, panic attacks and obsessive-compulsive disorders.

DOSAGE:

General Dose:- 10 to 20mg/day or as directed by the physician.
