Sertaconazole Nitrate Cream 2%w/w

SERTOSENSE cream contains sertaconazole as the active ingredient

Sertaconazole is in a class of medications called imidazoles. It works by slowing the growth of fungi that cause infection.

INDICATIONS:

It is majorly used to treat Tinea pedis also known as Athlete’s foot – (Fungal infection of the skin on the feet and between the toes)

It can also be used to treat Tinea corporis and Tinea cruris (Itchy Rashes & ringworm caused by the Fungal infections)

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

SERTO-SENSE (Sertaconazole) is an antifungal medication. It kills and stops the growth of the fungi by destroying its cell membrane, thereby treating your skin infection.It does so by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol (An compound which is important for the biosynthesis of cell wall )

HOW TO USE:

Directly apply the cream on the affected area, Avoid rubbing of the treated area with any clothing.
