(Clobetasol Propionate 0.05% w/v & Salicylic Acid 3% w/v)

CLOBESENSE-S is a topical dermatological preparation containing a potent corticosteroid (Clobetasol Propionate) and a keratolytic agent (Salicylic Acid).

INDICATIONS

This medication is generally used for the treatment of inflammatory and hyperkeratotic skin conditions such as:

Psoriasis (including chronic plaque psoriasis)

Eczema

Dermatitis

Lichen planus

Hyperkeratotic skin disorders requiring corticosteroid and keratolytic action

MECHANISM OF ACTION

Clobetasol Propionate

Clobetasol is a very potent corticosteroid that reduces inflammation by:

Suppressing the release of inflammatory mediators

Reducing redness, swelling, and itching

Vasoconstricting blood vessels in affected skin

Salicylic Acid

Salicylic Acid acts as a keratolytic agent by:

Softening and breaking down thickened, scaly skin

Promoting shedding of the outer skin layer

Enhancing penetration of Clobetasol into the skin for improved effectiveness

DIRECTIONS

Clean and dry the affected area thoroughly before application.

Apply a thin layer of CLOBESENSE-S Lotion to the affected skin and gently rub in.

Use only on intact skin.

Do not cover the area with bandages or dressings unless specifically instructed by your doctor.

Avoid applying on the face, groin, or underarms unless directed by a healthcare professional.
