PARACEMETER (Paracetamol) belongs to the class of drugs known as Analgesics & Antipyretics.

INDICATIONS:

PARACEMETER (Paracetamol) is widely used to relieve pain in conditions like:

Fever

Headache

Muscle pain

Dental pain

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Paracetamol has a central analgesic effect that is mediated through activation of descending serotonergic pathways. Its primary site of action could be inhibition of prostaglandin (PG) synthesis or through an active metabolite influencing cannabinoid receptors.

DOSAGE:

Maximum Dose- 3000 mg/day in divided doses, preferably with milk.
