CEFPODOXIME & OFLOXACIN TABLETS

CEPOPEACE-O is a drug combination of CEFPODOXIME+OFLOXACIN that belongs to the class of medicines called broad-spectrum antibiotics.

INDICATIONS: Used for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections.

Bacterial infections of the lungs (pneumonia)

sinus (sinusitis)

Bladder infection (cystitis)

Ear and eye infections

urinary tract infections

respiratory tract infections

sexually transmitted infections

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

CEFPODOXIME works by stopping the growth of bacteria and kills the bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.

OFLOXACIN works by killing bacteria or preventing their growth by inhibition of bacterial DNA gyrase.

DOSAGE:

100-200 mg once or twice a day. Or as directed by the Physician.
