Cefpodoxime Proxetil dispersible tablets 100/200 mg.

CEPOPEACE (Cefpodoxime Proxetil) is in a class of medications called cephalosporin antibiotics. This medication is used to treat Bacterial infections and diseases.

INDICATIONS:

Bronchitis (infection of the airway tubes leading to the lungs)

Pneumonia

Gonorrhea (a sexually transmitted disease)

Bacterial Infections of the skin, ear, sinuses, throat, tonsils, and urinary tract.

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

(CEPOPEACE) It works by stopping the growth of bacteria and kills the bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.

DOSAGE:

The dose range varies from 100-400 mg/day or as directed by the physician.
