INDICATIONS

It is primarily used to treat bloating, nausea, burping, stomach pain and discomfort, and early satiety.

HOW IT WORKS:

Acotiamide works by increasing the level of a chemical substance that helps in improving gastrointestinal motility (contraction of the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract) and promoting the movement of the food from the stomach into the intestine.

It is primarily used in the treatment of functional dyspepsia (indigestion). Functional dyspepsia is a term for frequent signs and symptoms of indigestion that have no obvious cause. Symptoms include stomach pain, burning sensation, bloating, feeling of fullness, and nausea after meals.
