Amrofix LB 625 Tablets

AMROFIX CLAV 625 is a combination of 2 medicines:-Amoxycillin 500 mg and potassium clavulanate 125 mg

Amoxycillin belongs to a class of medications known as penicillin-like antibiotics.

Potassium clavulanate belongs to a class of medications known as beta-lactamase inhibitors.

This combination is widely used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections like sinusitis & pneumonia.

INDICATIONS:

Sinusitis

Pneumonia

Ear infections

Bacterial induced Bronchitis

Urinary tract infections

Infections of the skin

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Amoxycillin acts through the inhibition of cell wall biosynthesis that leads to the death of the bacteria.

Clavulanate potassium works by preventing bacteria from destroying amoxicillin, thereby indirectly providing a synergistic effect.

DOSAGE:

General Dose: 1 Tablet every 12 hours or as directed by the physician.
