BOSETIS is a prescription medicine used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (high pressure in the blood vessels that carry blood from the heart to the lungs). It even helps to improve your quality of life, exercising ability and delay in disease progression.

INDICATIONS:

Helps prevent new digital ulcers in patients with scleroderma.

Treats high blood pressure in the lungs

Prevents finger sores in people with a disease called scleroderma.

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Bosentan 62.5 mg works by blocking endothelin receptors called ETA and ETB. Endothelin is a substance that narrows blood vessels and raises blood pressure. By blocking these receptors, Bosentan relaxes and widens blood vessels, especially in the lungs. This helps lower the high blood pressure in the lungs (pulmonary arterial hypertension). As a result, it improves blood flow and reduces the strain on the heart.

Twice daily or as directed by the doctor
