Brivaracetam Tablets IP 25mg/50 mg/75 mg

Brivaracetam belongs to a class of medications called anticonvulsants. It is widely used for the treatment of epileptic seizures.

INDICATIONS:

Epilepsy

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Brivaracetam works by attaching itself to specific sites (SV2A) on the surfaces of nerve cells. This suppresses the abnormal activity of the nerve cells in the brain and prevents the spread of electrical signals that cause seizures.

DOSAGE: Initial dose-25 – 75 mg/day. Or as directed by the physician.

SIDE EFFECTS: Some common side effects Dizziness, Fatigue, Nausea, Sleepiness, Vomiting, Constipation, Irritation
