COALSENSE-S TOPICAL SOLUTION

Coal Tar 1% w/v & Salicylic Acid 3% w/v

COALSENSE-S is a topical solution combining a keratoplastic agent and a keratolytic for the management of chronic skin conditions.

INDICATIONS

This medication is generally used for:

Psoriasis (including chronic plaque psoriasis)

Seborrheic dermatitis

Hyperkeratotic or scaly skin conditions

Other inflammatory skin disorders with thickened or scaly lesions

MECHANISM OF ACTION

Coal Tar

Acts as a keratoplastic and anti-inflammatory agent

Slows down excessive skin cell proliferation

Reduces scaling, itching, and inflammation

Salicylic Acid

Acts as a keratolytic agent

Softens and removes thickened, scaly skin

Enhances penetration of coal tar for better effectiveness

Combined Effect:

Reduces scaling, thickening, and itching while controlling inflammation

DIRECTIONS

Clean and dry the affected skin before application.

Apply a thin layer of COALSENSE-S Solution to the affected area once or twice daily, or as prescribed by your doctor.

Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

Wash hands after application.

Do not cover with airtight dressings unless advised by a healthcare professional.
