DABYCLURE (Dabigatran) is in a class of anticoagulant medications called direct thrombin inhibitors. It is used to prevent the formation of blood clots in the heart, legs, lungs, or brain.

INDICATIONS:

Heart attack

Stroke

Pulmonary embolism

Deep vein thrombosis

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

DABYCLURE (Dabigatran) is a reversible competitive thrombin inhibitor (Thrombin is an enzyme which plays a key role in blood clotting process) DABYCLURE inhibits the conversion of fibrinogen to fibrin done by thrombin, impairing the clotting process and preventing the formation of blood clots.

DOSAGE:

1 Capsule twice a day or as directed by the physician.
