EPIMIND is a combination of two medicinal compounds: Sodium valproate and valproic acid.Both of these compounds are two forms of the same medication. The only difference is in how they are prepared. These medicines are most commonly used in treating problems with the nervous system such as epilepsy, migraines and mood disorders.

INDICATION:

Epilepsy

Bipolar Disorder

Acute anxiety disorders

Migraine Headaches.

Mood Disorders

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

EPIMIND increases concentrations of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the brain, thereby reducing neuronal excitability by inhibiting nerve transmission, and normalising the activity of the brain.

DOSAGE:

The dose range varies from 250-1000 mg/day based on the condition of the patient.
