MECHANISM OF ACTION:

FOSFOCLEAR SACHETS (FOSFOMYCIN TROMETHAMINE 3GM) Fosfomycin exerts its bactericidal effects by binding covalently to a cysteine in the active site of the UDP-N-acetylglucosamine enolpyruvyl transferase (MurA) enzyme, rendering it inactive.
