FURO-SENSE B OINTMENT

Fusidic Acid 20 mg + Beclomethasone 0.25 mg per gram

FURO-SENSE B is a topical preparation combining an antibiotic (Fusidic Acid) and a mild corticosteroid (Beclomethasone). It is used for infected inflammatory skin conditions.

INDICATIONS

This medication is generally used for:

Infected eczema or dermatitis

Impetiginized psoriasis

Infected skin rashes with inflammation

Other bacterial skin infections accompanied by redness, itching, or inflammation

MECHANISM OF ACTION

Fusidic Acid

Acts as a topical antibiotic

Inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by blocking elongation factor G (EF-G)

Prevents growth and multiplication of susceptible bacteria

Beclomethasone

Acts as a mild corticosteroid

Reduces inflammation, redness, and itching

Modulates the body?s immune response in affected skin areas

Combined Effect:

Treats infection while reducing inflammation and discomfort

DIRECTIONS

Clean and dry the affected skin before application.

Apply a thin layer of FURO-SENSE B to the affected area and surrounding skin 2?3 times daily, or as directed by your doctor.

Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, and broken skin unless directed.

Do not cover the area with airtight dressings unless advised by a healthcare professional.
