ITOPEACE 50 Tablet is a prescription medicine used to treat nausea, vomiting, and prevent the feeling of fullness during or shortly after a meal. It also treats stomach discomfort, or heartburn caused by reduced gastrointestinal motility.

INDICATIONS:

Treats indigestion and improves digestion.
Relieves bloating and fullness after meals.
Reduces nausea and vomiting.
Helps with acid reflux and heartburn.
Improves stomach movement in conditions like delayed gastric emptying (gastroparesis).

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Itopride works by increasing the movement of the stomach and intestines, helping food pass through more easily. It does this by blocking dopamine D2 receptors, which normally slow down gut movement. It also boosts the release of acetylcholine, a chemical that stimulates digestive muscles. This dual action improves gastric emptying and reduces symptoms like bloating, nausea, and fullness.
