KOZORYL SYRUP (Diphenhydramine hydrochloride,Ammonium chloride, Sodium citrate & Ethanol syrup) is a combination drug which is mainly used to treat cough & cold &/or symptoms related to it.

INDICATIONS:KOZORYL SYRUP is used to provide relief from a cough accompanied by cold symptoms such as sore throat, runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Also helps in providing relief from allergy.

HOW IT WORKS:

Diphenhydramine hydrochloride works by blocking a certain natural substance (histamine) that your body makes during an allergic reaction.

Ammonium chloride is an expectorant which decreases the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and helps in its removal from the airways.

Sodium citrate is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out.

Ethanol is used in cough syrups and tonics for the cure of respiratory and cough related diseases.

DOSAGE:

Two teaspoonfuls two or three times a day or as directed by the doctor.
