Description:
KYSULFAZ 500 (Sulfasalazine) is an anti-inflammatory and disease-modifying agent used in inflammatory bowel disease and certain autoimmune conditions.

Indications:

Mechanism of Action:
Sulfasalazine is broken down in the colon into sulfapyridine and 5-aminosalicylic acid. These active components reduce inflammation by inhibiting inflammatory mediators and modulating immune response in the intestinal mucosa and joints.
