LINEZOLID DISPERSIBLE TABLETS 600 mg.

LINBOTIC (Linezolid) is in a class of antibacterials called oxazolidinones.It is used to treat certain serious bacterial infections. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria.

INDICATIONS:

Bacterial skin infections

Pneumonia

Urinary tract infections (UTIs)

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Linezolid is bacteriostatic with a unique mechanism of action. It inhibits protein synthesis in bacteria by binding to a site on the bacterial 23S ribosomal RNA thereby stopping further growth of bacteria.

DOSAGE:

1 Tablet twice daily, or as directed by the physician.
