MIGRAITIZ (Rizatriptan) belongs to a class of medications called selective serotonin receptor agonists.

INDICATIONS :

This medication is generally used to treat migraine headaches in adults and children 6 years of age and older.

MECHANISM OF ACTION :

MIGRAITIZ (Rizatriptan) works by narrowing the blood vessels in the brain, thereby providing relief from migraine headaches.

Rizatriptan also helps in decreasing the substances in the body, which can trigger headache pain, sensitivity to light and sound, nausea, and other migraine symptoms.
