Methotrexate Tablets [2.5 / 5 / 7.5 / 10 /15] mg

MIPSTREX (Methotrexate) belongs to a class of drugs known as antimetabolites.

This medication is generally used to treat certain types of cancer or to control severe psoriasis or rheumatoid arthritis that has not responded to other treatments.

INDICATIONS:

Rheumatoid arthritis

Psoriasis

Certain types of cancer like : Leukaemia & Lymphoma

Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis.

(It is a form of arthritis in children ages 16 or younger. It causes joint inflammation and stiffness for more than 6 weeks.)

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

MIPSTREX (Methotrexate) is an immunosuppressant. In rheumatoid arthritis, it works by decreasing the activity of the body’s immune system. This decreases swelling, reduces pain and stiffness, and improves function. In psoriasis, it works by slowing down the rapid growth of skin cells.

DOSAGE:

Use as prescribed by the Doctor.
