INDICATION

Regulating menstrual cycles and treating irregular periods

Supporting pregnancy and preventing miscarriage.

Managing symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS).

MECHANISM OF ACTION

Progesterone is a steroid hormone that regulates the development and function of the uterus by regulating the transcription of specific genes in the uterus. Progesterone works by thickening the uterine lining and creating a good environment for a fertilised egg to implant. If an egg isn’t fertilised during that cycle, the corpus luteum breaks down, which decreases progesterone levels.

DOSAGE

One tablet once daily or as directed by the physician.
