TELKOTUN (Telmisartan )is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) . This medication is generally used in the treatment of Cardiovascular diseases & Disorders.

INDICATIONS :

Hypertension

Heart attack

Strokes

Kidney problems

MECHANISM OF ACTION :

TALKOTUN (Telmisartan) works by blocking the action of angiotensin ( A hormone which is responsible for constriction of blood vessels and increasing B.P), which further leads to vasodilation thereby maintaining an optimal blood flow.

DOSAGE :

The usual dose range varies from 40 to 80 mg/day
