TORSACARE FORTE is a combination of two medicinal compounds which are:

Torsemide & Spironolactone

This medicine is generally used in the treatment of Edema (Fluid retention) and High BP.

INDICATIONS:

High Blood Pressure

Kidney disorders

Edema (Fluid retention in the body)

By lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Torsemide is a ?water pill? (diuretic) that causes you to make more urine. This helps your body get rid of extra water and salt.

Spironolactone is used to treat high blood pressure and heart failure. Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems.

Spironolactone is in a class of medications called aldosterone receptor antagonists. It causes the kidneys to eliminate unneeded water and sodium from the body into the urine but reduces the loss of potassium from the body.

DOSAGE:

1 Tablet once or twice a day or as directed by the doctor.
