TRANXOMIXS INJECTION

Tranxomixs Injection is used to treat bleeding. It helps to prevent or reduce bleeding in conditions like tooth removal, heavy periods, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, nosebleed, and in any oral, prostate, or bladder surgery.

INDICATIONS:

Controls heavy menstrual bleeding

Reduces bleeding during surgery or trauma
Manages bleeding in blood disorders like hemophilia
Prevents excessive bleeding in dental or eye procedures

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Tranexamic Acid works by inhibiting the activation of plasminogen to plasmin, an enzyme responsible for breaking down fibrin, the main protein in blood clots. By blocking this process, it helps stabilize clots and prevent their premature breakdown. This reduces bleeding in various conditions. It does not form new clots but preserves existing ones. As a result, it is effective in controlling excessive or abnormal bleeding.

DOSAGE:

Taken 2 to 3 times a day as directed by a physician.
