Fluvoxamine Maleate Extended Release Tablets 50 & 100 mg

VOXAPEACE (Fluvoxamine) belongs to a class of drugs known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs).

It is used for the treatment of Depression and other mental disorders.

INDICATIONS:

Depression

Anxiety

OCD – (Obsessive compulsive disorder)

[A pattern of unwanted thoughts and fears (obsessions) that leads the patient to do repetitive behaviours]

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Fluvoxamine is an antidepressant. It works by increasing the levels of serotonin, a chemical messenger in the brain. This improves mood and physical symptoms of depression and also relieves symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorders.

DOSAGE :

The dose range varies from 50 to 300mg/day based on the condition of the patient, or as directed by the physician.
