Betahistine Hydrochloride Dispersible Tablets.

PSYCHOVERT (Betahistine Hydrochloride) belongs to a class of drugs called histamine Analogues, It is commonly prescribed for balance disorders or to alleviate vertigo symptoms.

INDICATIONS:

Meniere?s Disease (Disorder of the inner ear that causes loss of hearing & Dizziness)

Dizziness (Vertigo),

Ringing In The Ears (Tinnitus)

Feeling Sick (Nausea).

MECHANISM OF ACTION :

PSYCHOVERT (Betahistine) is a histamine analog. It works by improving the blood flow in the inner ear which reduces the pressure of excess fluid there. Excess fluid can send signals to the brain causing nausea, dizziness or spinning sensations (symptoms of M?ni?re’s disease).

Betahistine additionally decrease the nerve signals sent from the inner ear to the brain relieving the symptoms of M?ni?re’s disease.

DOSAGE : The dose range varies from 24 – 48 mg/daily, based on the condition of the patient or as directed by the Doctor.
